Zandvliet Wine Estate, on the outskirts of Ashton in the Robertson Valley, plays an illustrious role in the narrative of the South African wine industry. Proclaimed as a farm in 1838, Zandvliet counts among the very first farms to bottle Shiraz. The Zandvliet Hill of Enon Shiraz / Syrah 2020 displays a delicate layered nose of blue berries, liquorice, and dark chocolate. These flavours follow through onto a delicate palate, with wood integration, plums, cigar box and chocolate that finishes with a velvety smooth long aftertaste.
