The Nikka Pure Malt Black is the most popular of the Red, Black and White series. It was discovered in 2000, the same year as Nikka from the Barrel. This blended malt from Nikka is a combination of single malts from the company’s two single malt distilleries: the fruity elegance of Miyagikyo with the smokier notes of Yoichi. The result is an aromatic balance of fruit and refined peat. A storming example of what Japanese whisky is truly capable of.
