Growing fine wines on the Meerlust Estate has been part of the Myburgh family tradition for 8 generations, beginning in 1756. Long recognized for producing world-class wines, the Meerlust Estate in Stellenbosch is rich in both charm and history. The wines are all made from grapes grown on the estate and matured in French oak. The Meerlust Pinot Noir 2023 features a vibrant ruby colour, displaying a youthful appearance. On the nose, this red wine offers pronounced aromas of red berries, including cherries, coupled with earthy undertones and hints of wild mushrooms. The palate reveals flavours of fresh red fruits such as cherry, complemented by a delicate structure and subtle oak influences. The finish is elegant and balanced, highlighting the purity and finesse typical of Pinot Noir from this region.
