The 2022 Meevaller is a medium ruby colour. The nose is attractive with fresh strawberries, cherry and a hint of thyme. This 2022 Mourvèdre is unique for having a combination of weight and texture with a youthful freshness. The leather, tobacco box and mocha notes adds complexity. With the fresh entry showing sour cherry, the wine moves to good weight on the mid-palate and texture all round with hints of oak, vanilla and spice. The finish of the wine lingers on with chocolate and cherry yet stays focused due to a good acidity level.
