Kavalan has been pioneering the art of Taiwanese single malt since 2005. Aged in intense humidity and purified by the meltwaters of Snow Mountain in Yilan, Taiwan. The Kavalan Solist ex-Bourbon is a delightfully complex, multi-dimensional single malt whisky, with vanilla, fruit and coconut highlights. Matured in hand-selected fresh American ex-Bourbon casks, the whisky is available at cask strength and non-chill-filtered, retaining the fuller flavour of a natural single malt whisky. A perfect showcase for the quality of Kavalan’s Taiwanese made and matured spirit - a single cask bottling from a first-fill bourbon cask.
