This southernmost part of the Stellenbosch wine region provides the backdrop and the perfect climatic conditions for the incredible range of wines. A celebration of terroir, unusual varietals and masterful blends, Idiom is so-called because it is home to the Cape expression of so many European classics. The Idiom ‘R’ Rodanico SMV 2018 is a medium to full-bodied red wine blend of Shiraz, Mourvèdre, and Viognier. Aromas of musk, lavender and granite. Tantalizing flavours of savoury plums and white pepper dance on the palate. Smooth velvety tannins and a long rich finish make for an elegant red wine with real promise.
