The Gouws family’s winemaking heritage dates to 1691. With vineyards rooted in the finest Stellenbosch terroir, their modern-style wines are a true reflection of varietal character and fruit definition. The translucent ruby colour of the Ernst Gouws & Co Pinot Noir 2023 is typical of the variety. Subtle aromas of fresh raspberries, cherries and tilled earth combine with a hint of baking spice. The palate is elegant, with a delicate and silky tannin structure.
