Very deep ruby; red and black plum fruit with touches of redcurrant and milk chocolate. Mid-weight &dry, not yet fully open and somewhat austere, red berry fruit still in grip of tannin, dry dusty finish.
Potato gnocchi with blue cheese sauce, or grilled lamb steak with a pat of garlic butter, or a magisterial cottage pie!
Unready, suggest best to open from winter 2021, can cellar to 2024.
