PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

An urban winery in Bosman's Crossing, Stellenbosch, where each wine is made for pure enjoyment and a delicious all-round experience. The High Road Classique 2019 is a classic Bordeaux-style blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Displaying a beautiful deep plum-red colour with a red brick rim. Notes of wild bramble fruit and ripe prune are evident on the nose, with hints of dried herbs and underlying notes of toasted oak and vanilla. The entry on the palate is smooth and packed with blue and red fruit flavours. The tannins are finely textured, and the finish is crisp and clean with lingering notes of dried herbs and pepper spice. Although drinkable now, this red wine will be at its best over ten years from vintage. Serve with a herb-crusted rack of Lamb with a Salsa Verde.
