Spier De-alcoholised 0.5% Chenin Blanc 2020
Spier, near Stellenbosch, is one of South Africa’s oldest wine farms with a recorded history dating back to 1692. Not only are their wines among the most awarded in the country, Spier also now offer a de-alcoholised wine range. With no added flavourants and no artificial additives, these wines contain less than 0.5% alcohol and offer delicate nuances on the palate. The Spier De-alcoholised 0.5% Chenin Blanc 2020 is a semi-sweet, unwooded white wine with aromas of peach, litchi, orange, elderflower and hints of guava. The mouth-watering palate has fresh crisp, tropical fruit flavours that fill the mouth with a lemony saline swirl on the finish.
Although this versatile wine is great on its own as an aperitif, it’s also delicious with light seafood dishes or crisp salads.
