PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Paserene is a boutique winery in Franschhoek, owned by Martin Smith and Ndabe Mareda, that produces high-end, luxury wines. The Paserene Shiner White 2018 is a delicious Franschhoek white wine made up of a blend of 83% Sauvignon Blanc and 17% Semillon Gris. It opens with enticing tropical aromas of honey-ripe pineapple, melon, and caramelized banana. The palate continues these fruity notes but has a hit of bright acidity to cut through the sweet flavours.
FOOD PAIRING:
Grilled pork and chicken with tomato-based sauces are also fantastic choices for the freshness of the Sauvignon Blanc. Briny, fresh oysters and scallops sprinkled with dill and coriander will not go amiss with a crisp glass of this wine.
