Almost inky; nice complexity in subtle mulberry, dry fynbos and delicate mint. Understated and properly dry, claret-like in structure and style, the tannins dry and smooth, easily accessible. Made to age.
Guineafowl casserole with chestnuts, bacon and currants, or a thick fillet with béarnaise sauce, or stuffed big black mushrooms.
Ready to drink, but can be cellared until the end of 2023.
