PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Edgebaston wines are made by David Finlayson on the Finlayson Family Vineyards in Stellenbosch. The range of wines are made to reflect the personality and winemaking philosophy of the region and the Finlayson Family. The David Finlayson Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is made to exude the intensity and purity of the Cabernet Sauvignon varietal character and as such displays typical cassis and blackcurrant flavours. This red wine has a fresh, minty, red berry fruit spectrum on the palate backed by mocha vanilla oak. Firm structured tannins and a long finish on the palate show good ageing potential. Made with more than a nod to the classic wines of the Medoc in the Bordeaux region, showing the period David Finlayson spent working at world renowned Chateau Margaux.
