Cape Point Vineyards is a family-owned vineyard that is uniquely located in Noordhoek on the Cape Peninsula, where it is set rather majestically against the slopes of the famous Chapman’s Peak Mountain range and overlooks the nearby Atlantic Ocean. The Cape Town Wine Co Sauvignon Blanc 2022 is a distinctly Capetonian Sauvignon Blanc with beautiful tones of citrus, pineapple, Golden Delicious apple and ripe pear on the nose. The palate is light with plenty of fruit and a medium weight with a balanced acidity which translates into a long lingering freshness. A white wine to be paired with fresh line fish served with lemon butter, pasta with pesto, green vegetables with mild vinaigrettes, and great with goat’s milk cheese.
