Deep ruby; aromas of thatch, gypsy ham, slangbos with a not-too-subtle smoky overlay. Lighter style and texture, though not at expense of flavour. Succulent and savoury with lighter tannins to match. Delish!
Cold roast beef with walnut bread, or fresh tongue with green peppercorn sauce, or rump steak with a blue cheese sauce.
