Trappist Beers

Mostly warm fermented, there’s no singularity of style with Trappist beers. All the name means is that the beer was brewed in a Trappist monastery, with the monks playing a key role in production. Also the profits of the sale of this beer must be used to support the monastery or social programmes, and currently there are only six Trappist monasteries in Belgium brewing beer.
