Very deep ruby; cool climate shows in pristine dark berries with touches of the variety’s leafiness. Full-bodied and ripe, crammed with luscious berry flavours, hint of choc richness, clean-cut light tannins.
FOOD PAIRING:
Creamed mushrooms on toast, butter-fried porterhouse with crushed black pepper, or a family-size steak and kidney pie.
