Spanish Wines

Variety is the name of the game in Spain, with over 400 different types of grape grown across the land. And of course, for such a big country, the climate and terroir differs greatly from region to region, resulting in many different styles of wine. Most notable are the red wines from Rioja and Ribera del Duero (mostly Tempranillo) and sparkling Cava from Catalonia, but there are many others of interest.
