South African Whisky

Despite the fact that whisky has been produced in South Africa since the 19th century, it’s only now that a distinct, regional character is starting to develop. Pioneering that is the whisky produced at the James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington – Bain’s Cape Mountain Whisky, which was named the world’s best grain whisky in 2013, and the Three Ships range, which has won numerous awards for its five-year-old blend and 10-year-old single malt.
