Single Malt

Speyside Whisky

Despite being a relatively small area geographically, Speyside has the greatest number of distilleries of all the whisky-producing areas in Scotland and boasts the world’s best-selling single malt, Glenfiddich. It’s a sub-region of the Highlands, with a wide variety of styles, but broadly speaking there are two camps: light and grassy whiskies such as Glenlivet, and the richer, sweeter qualities that can be found in Macallan.
