Kanonkop Wine Estate in Stellenbosch is a 4th generation family-owned wine estate, which has been handed down from generation to generation and is now in the hands of brothers Paul and Johann Krige. The Kanonkop Kadette Pinotage 2020 features the classic characteristics of South Africa’s famous home-grown grape variety. Autumnal, juicy dark fruit is complemented by an enticing savoury character with just a hint of underlying sweetness. Ageing in used French oak barrels produces a lean, muscular structure and supple tannins. This red wine is best served with meaty pasta and spicy dishes.
