Clos Malverne Honeydew Dessert Wine - 1 x 750ml

ORIGIN: From selected vineyards in the prime red wine growing area of the Devon Valley near Stellenbosch.
CLIMATE: Mediterranean - summers are warm and dry, whilst sea breezes from the nearby False Bay cool the vineyards in the afternoons. The winters are wet and cold with a high average rainfall.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are hand- harvested at a very ripe stage. They are then destalked, crushed and after some skin contact, the grapes are pressed and fermented at 13°C to ensure a slow fermentation process for maximum flavour development. Fermentation is stopped at the desired sugar and alcohol level. The varietals and blend remain a winemaker’s secret.
TASTING NOTES:
This sweet wine has beautiful notes of vanilla, citrus, blossom and honey comb, it is a classic wine with an elegant and creamy ending.

Delivery Method

All deliveries are door-to-door, we do not allow collections.

When will your order be delivered?

Please note, this is an estimate. It is subject to availability of stock of the item you have ordered.

In almost all instances, you can look forward to the following time from order to delivery once your order leaves the Bottleshop’s warehouse.

  • To Cape Town and surrounds:      1 – 2 Business Days
  • To JHB, PTA and Durban:             2 – 3 Business Days
  • To Regional Areas*:                    2 – 5 Business Days
  • To Remote Areas**:                    5 – 7 Business Days

We deliver between 09h00 and 17h00 on Business Days (i.e. Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

*Regional Areas: 50-100km outside of CPT, JHB, PTA and DBN.

**Remote Areas: Areas in South Africa other than the main centres and regional areas. 100km + outside of CPT, JHB, PTA and DBN.

Delivery Costs

R75.00 for orders below R1000 within the Western Cape.

R95.00 for orders below R1000 outside the Western Cape.

Tracking your order

You can track your order’s delivery progress by using the tracking number provided, which you will receive via email upon dispatch of your order.

What if your ordered item is discovered to be unavailable?

We offer over 6000 items and purchases occur throughout the day and night. There are therefore rare instances where we cannot deliver the item you have ordered, even though our website has let you purchase the item and been believed to be “available”.

If this happens, our customer service team will get in touch and we will recommend a comparable item or offer you a full refund.

Does Bottleshop deliver internationally?

We deliver internationally.

Where you want an item delivered to an address outside of South Africa, we will liaise directly with you to confirm the delivery date and associated delivery cost.

We understand how important it is that the item you order arrives when you expect it to, and we will try our utmost to manage these special delivery requests.

Cancelled orders:

Cancelled orders with no valid reasoning will be refunded, however a deduction of 10% for administration costs will be charged. Bottleshop.co.za reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the our high standards. Should Bottleshop.co.za exercise this right, you will receive a full refund with no deductions.

Any complaints regarding the standard and quality of the product or products bought by consumers through bottleshop.co.za should be directed to hello@bottleshop.co.za.

Returns / Refund Policy

What do I need to do to return an item/s?

Bottleshop.co.za does not accept returns unless the products are broken upon signature by the courier or expired.

If you notify us after the 24 hour period you will have to send the item back at your own cost.

Refunds will be processed the same method we received payment.  EFT to the same bank account or the same Credit Card you used to purchase the items with.

Please note that all items must be in there original packaging and in the same condition as you received them. Please check them when you receive them.

We will not accept returns of broken bottles once the parcel has been signed for by you or the recipient.
