Campbeltown Whisky

Situated on the fertile Kintyre peninsula on Scotland’s west coast, Campeltown has a rich history of whisky production and holds a respected reputation as one of the finest producers of single malt. That’s despite the fact that today the remote settlement only boasts three distilleries, down from 34 in its heyday. In general, the whiskies have a slight coastal character, as befits the region, and the use of peat and cask finish varies for each distillery.
