Australian Wines

Every state in Australia produces wine, and there are more than 60 wine regions totalling 160 000 hectares. As a New World wine producer, Australian wineries are at the forefront of technology and innovation, and they’ve set benchmarks in, most notably, the production of high-quality Shiraz and Chardonnay. That said, winemakers in Australia experiment with more than 150 different varietals, and especially the warmer-climate grapes have proved super successful.
